Pier Paolo Quaglia, con il suo punto di vista personalissimo e raffinato, restituisce una lettura di vizi e virtù terrestri di rara esattezza. Attraverso questo nuovo ciclo di opere, l’indagine del nostro sistema si ammorbidisce prendendo un ritmo narrativo, come se l’artista volesse raccontare delle storie attraverso le immagini. Anche la tecnica adottata partecipa della contemporaneità osservata: i pezzi in mostra sono scatti presi da film e da serie tv con uno smartphone, stampati e lungamente rielaborati fino a ottenere con precisione estrema il risultato voluto.

Pier Paolo Quaglia, from his highly personal and refined standpoint, gives us back a reading of rarely attained precision, of terrestrial vices and virtues. Through this new cycle of works, the investigation of our system softens with a narrative rhythm; as if the artist was attempting to tell stories through the images. The very technique chosen has the same modernity as the observed real time reality: the elements on display are shots from movies and TV series with a Smartphone, printed and worked over until the sought after result has been reached with the most extreme precision.
